Heba Saeed is a certified UNESCO expert for intangible Cultural Heritage and the implementation of 2003
convention of UNESCO. She is also working on the implementation of the UNESCO convention of 2005 on the
protection and promotion of cultural expressions. Saeed worked in the Cairo Governorate, Cairo Heritage
Preservation General Administration, for three years and has been a part of many projects focusing on
regeneration of Downtown Cairo - Khedival Cairo - and the old city of Historic Cairo inscribed on the World
Heritage List. She cooperated in the file ofnomination of Cairo as creative city for Handicrafts and folk
arts in 2017 for 'UNESCO Creative Cities Network'. Heba Saeed is an archaeologist with a Ph.D. in Ancient
Egyptian civilization and a wealth of experience in the tourism field. She is also studying Joint Master in
Heritage Conservation and Site Management in Helwan University and Brandenburg University.
